MYBA The Worldwide Yachting Association has announced its decision to host the MYBA Charter Show at OneOcean Port Vell, Barcelona, for the next three consecutive years. The event, attended exclusively by industry professionals, has been held in Genoa for the last 16 years and this change marks an exciting new period in the life of the popular show.
The decision was made following extensive and careful consideration whereby MYBA canvassed and consulted both its board members and key influencers within the superyacht industry, while considering multiple parameters.
Excelling within the shortlist – comprising Nice, Genoa and Barcelona – a number of factors, including its ability to berth 150 yachts ranging from 22m to 190m and a favourably convenient location just a 20-minute drive from an international airport, culminated in the appointment of OneOcean Port Vell.
Offering 1058 linear metres of quay to accommodate exhibitor tents in front of superyacht berths, the 2017 MYBA Charter Show will be held across Spanish Quay, Barceloneta Quay, Deposit Quay and Sota Muralla Quay, all conveniently located within the heart of Barcelona.
