Japan: Asia’s Next Superyacht Hub?

Nigel Beatty is a firm believer that Japan is on the cusp of becoming Asia’s next major superyacht hub. His optimism is rooted in several factors, including the development of the Super Yacht Base Kobe, a state-of-the-art facility capable of accommodating yachts of any size, with stern-to dockage for vessels up to 80 metres. Furthermore, Japan boasts 50% more cruising grounds than the USA, offering extensive and stunning locations for superyachts to explore year-round. The Japanese government’s efforts to simplify regulations for superyacht cruising and chartering further contribute to the country’s appeal as a superyacht destination.

Showcasing Excellence: Italian Sea Group and More

YACHTZOO’s commitment to bringing the best of the superyacht world to Japan is evident in its representation of the Italian Sea Group, which includes prestigious brands such as Admiral, Picchiotti, Perini Navi, and Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63. The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, inspired by Lamborghini supersports cars, is a particularly exciting offering. This yacht boasts two MAN V12 – 2000HP engines, enabling it to reach an impressive speed of 63 knots. Its carbon fiber construction, a hallmark of Lamborghini cars, ensures its classification as an ultralight boat with a maximum weight of 24 tons for its 63-foot length.

Visitors to the YACHTZOO stand at the Japan International Boat Show 2025 had the opportunity to see a model of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 and meet Fabrizio Massa from the Italian Sea Group, an expert on these exceptional yachts. In addition to the Italian Sea Group, YACHTZOO also represents ICE custom-built sailing yachts and Lancia Aprea, luxury Italian motor yachts, further expanding its diverse portfolio of high-end vessels.
