Starting from Palermo on 18th August, Skazka the Infiniti 36GT from Danish Yachts is looking to improve on her sistership’s third overall in last year’s Palermo to Monte Carlo race. Fully prepared and ready to go, the crew under the leadership of Damien Desprat, are currently acclimatising and training in the waters off the coast of Sicily.
With a crew partly from last year’s ‘Foiled’, and the rest made up with experienced offshore sailors from Yacht Club de Monaco, Skazka will be aiming to use her DSS (Dynamic Stability Systems) to the best advantage on this 500nm race. The same technology is to be included in the new larger Infiniti 100S from Danish Yachts, recently unveiled at Palma Vela.
Skazka’s next appearance will be at the Monaco Yacht Show adjacent to the Yachtzoo stand N24 on the Quai de l’Hirondelle from 25th – 28th September in Port Hercule.
