The Large Yacht Brokers Association (LYBrA) has invited YACHTZOO to join them and it is with great pleasure that we announce our acceptance in becoming their 9th member as of January 2016.
LYBrA is a trade association for superyacht brokerage companies who have a fleet of Central Agency yachts with an LOA greater than 30m. Their goal is to bring together the biggest companies to discuss and resolve current issues but also to address the future concerns of the industry, tackling issues which are of shared interest to the large brokerage houses or the wider brokerage community. This includes topics such as money laundering, corruption, the Bribery Act, tax as well as yacht shows, yachting events and much more.
LYBrA conducted an exhaustive study of companies that had both the industry experience and the programming expertise required to meet the needs of the association. YATCO’s Internet technology and their in-house development teams, as well as their successful history in the industry, is considered to be ideal and will be delivering the association’s website very soon. YATCO will incorporate its proprietary technology and employ its latest Search Engine Optimization techniques along with smart, engaging designs in all of the web based projects it does for LYBrA.
It is certainly an exciting time to be in yachting and 2016 looks set to be the cornerstone in promoting a professional, unified and respected industry.
