Luxury yacht brokerage agency YACHTZOO has announced a massive €500,000 price reduction on the stunning yacht built by Picchiotti in 1970 and named R. PAOLUCCI.
Originally a military vessel and fast ambulance in rescue operations at sea, the R. PAOLUCCI was named after a decorated war hero, Raffaele Paolucci, and was later used for important meetings and events for the Presidency of the Italian Republic. Her allure and historical significance caught the eye of Giordano Fabiani, who meticulously restored her whilst preserving her original elegance amidst adding modern technological and architectural details. The renovation project by the company ETA at the Tiber Shipyard in Fiumicino was aimed at conserving the boat’s original materials, while completely redesigning and renovating the engine room, on-board systems, crew quarters, electronics, navigation instruments, and more.
The Castagna di Erba company was entrusted with redesigning the breathtaking interior, using white wood paneling for natural brightness, and opaque Burma teak for the flooring and furnishings. The main deck is dominated by a large saloon and dining room with essential furnishings, and up to ten guests can be accommodated across three double VIP cabins and a guest cabin with two single beds, all of which are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and B&O audio-video systems. The outdoor living spaces include two sundecks, one at the bow and one on the 80 square meter flybridge, furnished with custom sofas and deck cushions for tranquil relaxation.
Giordano Fabiani is pleased with the restorative process, remarking, “It was an exciting challenge, and I am satisfied to have restored the ancient splendor of R. PAOLUCCI and to have transformed it into a luxury yacht.” For those who appreciate classic elegance and are interested in acquiring this luxurious and well-maintained classic yacht, YACHTZOO’s announcement of the reduced asking price presents a unique opportunity.
