The YACHTZOO team is delighted to announce the addition of luxury 47.4-metre sailing yacht GWEILO to its sales fleet.
GWEILO is a stunning two-masted wooden schooner built in 2009. She has classical lines with a traditional rig and a long keel, which makes her comfortable under sail.
The deck areas are spacious with sunbeds for relaxing either on the aft deck or on top of the coach-roof, easily accessible by small steps. There is an uncluttered cockpit dining area with an expandable table which can easily seat up to nine people comfortably. Also for your convenience, there is a small drinks fridge and an ice maker in front of the table.
There is an aft swim platform with steps down from the deck to allow easy entry and exit from the sea. On the starboard side amidships there is a boarding ladder for accessing the tender.
The Castoldi jet tender is a recent addition that provides comfortable seating for your trips ashore or, if you are feeling energetic, plenty of power for waterskiing or wakeboarding.
GWEILO has been fitted out with a beautiful, elegant interior. Dark wood panelling combined with rich fabrics, light coloured carpet and antique-style brass fittings make a pleasant, serene ambience.
The wheelhouse has the navigation area to starboard and a dining table with a sofa surround seat on the port side. This dining table is slightly smaller than the one in the cockpit and is very comfortable for six diners. The wheelhouse has windows on all four sides to enjoy views of the deck and the surrounding scenery.
Going down some steps forward from the wheelhouse leads to the main salon. In here you have a central rotatable TV which can be viewed from either the large L-shaped sofa on the port side or the beautiful oval dining table on the starboard side. There are also two armchairs and a coffee table to complement the area.
Behind the dining table there is a small passage which gives access to a day-head, a watertight door to the engine room and a small service area with a wine cellar, refrigerator and a large ice-maker.
GWEILO’s master suite is accessed from the wheelhouse by steps leading aft. The full-beam sumptuous space is dedicated to relaxation in a calm and sophisticated area, with subdued lighting. The walk-round queen-size bed is surrounded by a sofa to one side and cabinets to the other. There is a large shower room with grey marble walls, a WC and a hand basin on the port side accompanied by a walk-in dressing room with plenty of hanging lockers and drawers, plus a full-length mirror.
The VIP stateroom is accessed forward of the main salon. It has a queen-size bed and ensuite shower room. The stateroom is similar in character to the rest of the interior, with warm fabrics creating a peaceful environment. There is a small antique armchair for your added comfort. Opposite the VIP stateroom there is a twin-bed cabin with an ensuite.
