Originally built for her current owner in 2000, luxury 36m (118ft) superyacht M/Y FAE LON is a stunning example of the outstanding craftsmanship at world-renowned shipyard Burger. She represents an amazing opportunity to buy a pristine American classic superyacht that has been beautifully maintained. Drawing just 1.8m (5.8ft), she would be an excellent acquisition for cruising in shallow waters such as those in the Bahamas.

FAE LON retains all her original features and has been impeccably maintained by crew since her launch, with relatively limited private family use; only 1,900 engine hours have been accrued over the last 16 years.

FAE LON’s classically elegant styling is well suited for comfortable entertaining in the main salon, with beautifully appointed plush seating. The owners and their guests will enjoy formal dining for 10 around an exquisite inlaid cherrywood table.

The flooring of the main salon and dining is black absolute granite with exotic oriental carpets in each defined area. The granite runs through the starboard entry foyer and forward to the entrance of the master suite. The large main-deck master suite with its king-size bed and ensuite ‘his and hers’ bathrooms is separated by a cast glass-enclosed, marble shower with gold fixtures make for ultra-luxurious and spacious private owners’ accommodations.

There is a well-equipped, modern and spacious galley and, for more casual entertaining, the expansive open aft deck has a large half-circle inlaid teak table that seats 10 and provides a delightful alfresco dining experience.

Completing the distinctive main deck arrangement is a spectacular raised pilothouse with the finest navigation electronics, with built-in redundancy. There is Brazilian cherry and ebony splined flooring and a plush settee for four, with an exquisite inlaid teak table.

The entire main deck level accommodations as well as the pilothouse are covered with satin-gloss finished quarter-sawn African cherry bordering raised and fielded fiddleback Makoré paneling.  The main salon and dining, as well as the Owners’ stateroom and bathrooms, have digitally controlled blinds.

The main deck’s starboard, just aft of the entrance door, has a polished bronze railing surrounded a generous stairway leading down to a considerable inlaid marble-floored foyer. Forward, on both the port side and starboard sides, separated by a lighted and mirrored art sculpture alcoves, are entrances to two huge VIP suites, each with king-size berths and voluminous ensuite heads with marble and cast glass enclosed showers.

Aft, on both the port and starboard sides, also separated by an art sculpture alcove are two larger guest stateroom suites, each with a queen-size berth as well as a single berth and plenty of space between. As with the main deck, all wall treatment is with satin-gloss finished quarter-sawn African cherry bordering raised and fielded fiddleback Makoré paneling.

Opposite the stairway is a generous utility room finished in marble flooring, black granite countertops, the same cabinetry as throughout the yacht and several built-in stainless appliances.

Accessed through the Pilothouse, the expansive top deck is teak and has a helm station with excellent navigation electronics, a multi-position helm chair and cushioned, forward-facing bench seating both port and starboard.  Wing station controls are positioned outward on both sides. Just aft is cushioned, full-width seating for ten around a large, inlaid teak table. There is a full bar with five cushioned stools. The back bar contains a refrigerator, icemaker, sink and bottle cooler.

Aft of this area is a six-person hot tub surrounded by large cushioned sunbathing pads.  Opposite the hot tub is a dual barbecue station with refrigeration and generous storage area. On the aft of the top deck is a fore and aft positioned 18-foot  RIB tender with a 150hp outboard motor.

Listed at USD 8,250,000, FAE LON is currently located in Fisher Island, Florida. See the full sales listing here.
