Description

The 53m (173’11’’) sailing yacht DRUMBEAT accommodates 10 guests in 5 staterooms. Delivered in 2002, her last major refit took place in 2019 along with timely shipyard maintenance each year. S/Y DRUMBEAT, built by Alloy Yachts, is a fast sailing ketch, and one of the most magnificent sights at sea. She combines excellent sailing performance, sea worthiness and comfort, and was also the winner of the 2005 Rolex Transatlantic Challenge.

Her classic and elegant interior featuring styling by George Spencer Design offers a home away from home atmosphere and child-friendly setup. She has a spacious full width Owner’s Stateroom with a king sized bed, en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower, walk-in closet with ample storage, separate seating area, desk and state of the art entertainment system. Guest cabins include 2 identical double cabins with seating area and 2 twin cabins, 1 with a pullman for kids only, all with en-suite facilities. A unique design feature is the one-level layout from cockpit through the salon and dining area to the forward wheelhouse which creates an expansive area for entertaining.

DRUMBEAT is powered by Caterpillar engines and cruises comfortably at 10 knots with a top speed of 14 knots.
