INDAH 120m Superyacht Concept
From fold-down to rotational
A new approach to the superyacht stern.
INDAH is a 120m new-build concept by Opalinski Design House, conceived for a new generation of yachts over 100 metres and adaptable to approximately 100m.
Meaning “the beautiful one”, INDAH combines progressive design, advanced technology and innovative spatial concepts with the character and presence of a true ocean-going yacht.
At the heart of the project is its defining innovation: the patented Rotational Transom™.
Rather than folding down, it rotates.

See the transformation
Cruise. Rotate. Transform.
At anchor, INDAH’s rotational bulkheads move outwards from her sculpted transom, revealing additional deck space on either side. The upper surfaces then rise to meet the central swim platform, bringing the separate elements together to create one continuous beach club at water level. When retracted, the system returns seamlessly into the yacht’s clean exterior profile.
A private world for the Owner
A defining feature of INDAH’s preliminary arrangement is the exclusive Private Owner’s Suite, positioned within a secluded aft section of the yacht.
The suite includes a master bedroom, two generous bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes and a private balcony, creating an intimate retreat with a direct connection to the sea.
A private staircase connects the suite with the Owner’s Office above, creating a discreet multi-level private domain within the yacht.
INDAH
Ocean-going by design
INDAH’s slender lines and balanced proportions are conceived for true ocean-going passages, with comfort, stability and safety at the heart of the project.
Her distinctive vertical bow incorporates a refined shoulder flange designed to deflect spray and optimise performance at sea.
The bridge provides uninterrupted 360-degree visibility, creating a commanding navigation environment for the Captain and crew.
120m by design. Custom by nature.
INDAH is currently presented as a 120m concept, but the project can be adapted to approximately 100m and developed around the individual requirements of a future Owner.
The General Arrangement and layout configurations remain preliminary and fully customisable, allowing the yacht to evolve around the Owner’s lifestyle, priorities and intended use.
The naval architect and builder remain to be appointed.
Alternative propulsion systems and custom tender solutions may also be developed as part of the project.

Why rotational?
Designed with large-yacht applications in mind
The Rotational Transom™ approaches the movement of substantial stern structures differently.
By rotating around a vertical axis rather than lifting a large structure against gravity, the system can reduce operating demand and the hydraulic power required to deploy structures of comparable dimensions, subject to the individual vessel design.
- Reduced reliance on heavy hydraulics through rotational rather than lifting movement.
- Lower operating demand with the potential to reduce the power required to deploy large moving structures.
- Integrated structural architecture combining the rotating bulkhead and extension deck.
- Natural tender access to either side of the yacht while maintaining the visual connection aft.
- Unobstructed aft views by allowing tenders to remain positioned alongside the extended beach club rather than directly across the stern.
- Serviceability with rotating assemblies, bearings, locking systems and actuation components designed with maintenance access in mind.
- Redundancy and recovery with manual override and recovery provisions, subject to the vessel-specific engineering configuration.
Patented innovation
Designed by Opalinski Design House
The Rotational Transom Bulkheads feature has been protected and registered under utility patent law with the USPTO and EPO.
Opalinski Design House is also offering the Rotational Transom technology for licensing to selected manufacturers.
Within the wider Opalinski portfolio, the concept is described as “The Beach Club 2.0” — an innovation intended to redefine the relationship between the yacht and the sea.
More than additional space
The Rotational Transom™ is not simply about creating a larger platform. It changes how the entire aft section of the yacht can be used.
When fully deployed, the beach club opens directly towards the sea from a substantially larger deck area.
Specially designed openings within the stern structures provide natural tender access, allowing tenders to remain positioned to either side of the yacht while leaving the aft deck and visual axis unobstructed.
A gym and sauna are positioned behind tinted glass overlooking the beach club, reinforcing the connection between the interior spaces and the water beyond.
Designed around life at sea
The preliminary General Arrangement has been developed around a seamless relationship between spaces, functions and circulation.
Formal living and entertaining areas transition naturally into expansive exterior spaces, while more intimate lounges and private staterooms provide quieter areas for family life.
The foredeck creates a private outdoor retreat with a generous Jacuzzi, integrated sunbeds and a retractable sunshade.
Wind-deflecting glass balustrades preserve uninterrupted views towards the sea, while a dedicated helicopter landing area can be complemented by an optional enclosed garage beneath the deck.
Another dimension in yachting
INDAH begins with a familiar ambition — to create a closer connection between life on board and the sea — and approaches it from a different direction.
At 120 metres, or adapted around an Owner’s individual requirements, the project combines the scale and capability of an ocean-going yacht with a patented stern concept designed to transform the experience at water level.
From fold-down to rotational.
From swim platform to beach club.
From concept to a yacht created around its future Owner.
